What "vetted" actually means here
Every drone consultant listing site is a list of people who paid to be on it. This one is different in a way you can check.
Before a consultant appears in the directory, we verify four things. If any of them fail, they are not listed. There is no exception for paying customers.
- Identity. The named individual is who they say they are.
- Legal entity. A real, registered business in good standing.
- Professional indemnity insurance. In force, confirmed directly with the insurer, and re-checked at renewal.
- Evidence of approvals granted. Redacted authorizations, waivers or SORA approvals issued by an actual regulator.
Consultants who cannot show the work do not get the badge. We publish the standard in full, including what we do not check.
Filter by regulator, not by who ranks highest
Drone regulation is national. A consultant fluent in UK CAA operational authorizations is not automatically the right person for an FAA Part 107 waiver, an EASA specific category application, or a CASA approval in Australia.
The directory is organized by jurisdiction and by service, so you can find someone who has done your specific approval, under your specific regulator, rather than someone who simply does compliance. Jurisdiction claims are evidenced. Services are declared by the consultant and labeled as such.
